I do understand the need to optimize surfaces for "touch devices" as they gain usage share but: We do not only live in an "app/tablet/smartphone" world. In case I just want to reply a simple mail (usecase for outlook365) I appreciate the new design - but in case of real productive work where you e.g. want to format the body of your mail, embedd graphics and compress/resize/crop them the new minimal menus cause a lot of extra work to figure out how to perform an operation that was at your fingertips in the past. When I use outlook on the computer/notebook I would heavily appreciate the full-blown menu back.
