1. The Search Options are Covered Up
2. My Mail results get Covered Up
3. There is no Copy and Paste
4. It cannot search substrings: like finding "room" in "boardroom"
5. It takes many more clicks to perform any searchAn error occurred while saving the comment Josh commented
Yep well vote on it here as well >_<
Seriously do you need 3000 people telling you it's a bad change to actually understand it's a bad change...

I have been getting questions since this feature launched on how to change it back. Even people who asked near the beginning are coming back to me like "Any news on that search bar? It's really screwing up my day."
And I have to be all "no man sorry, Microsoft is staying silent on this matter, I'm sorry your work is taking so much longer but I am trying to reach someone to get an explanation"An error occurred while saving the comment Josh commented
New search gets blocked when connected to your pc via RDP, the RDP Connection bar covers the search field entirely.
Many times now I go to move my outlook window and open the search bar instead >_< I can move every other window from every other program with that spot of the menu bar EXCEPT Outlook now >_< WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS! :(
Takes MANY more clicks just to perform the same search. Extra clicks just to select a folder >_<
It covers up the advanced search controls which is something the old search never did...
Like Copy And Paste doesn't even work for crying out loud, How obvious are you trying to make it that this change WAS NOT TESTED... AT ALL internally.
I thought Microsoft was all about eating their own dog food but all their users must still be on Office 2016 Perpetual Licenses because obviously they never tested this change in house.

or better yet just move it back. How it covers all your search controls is terrible.

Move it back to where it was and it would be far superior to the completely broken widget we have now.
