In other words, if I understood correctly, this is also what we need.
Microsoft allows many sorts of DLP policies to be applied to Onedrive and SP.
But a user can bypass all of them by simply encrypt a file.
Example: I block credit card information when shared outside the organization, and it works.
Workaround: The end-user encrypts the file and uploads it to a SP site shared with outside users.
Problem: Data Breach
Solution: When do you plan to add a condition to detect encrypted files (or files that cannot be scanned) and let the customer decide what to do with them?Anonymous supported this idea ·
quite a big limitation here.
Any updates Microsoft?
