    If we had the ability to undo Preservation Lock, that would violate SEC 17a-4. It is "immutable," not even an administrator can undo it. If Microsoft gave us the ability to disable Preservation Lock, I will have to look for an alternative solution because it would no longer be FINRA/SEC-compliant. Don't turn it on, ever, if you don't need to be in compliant with FINRA/SEC or other rules. It's otherwise not for you. It's for those, by law, that must use this functionality.

    Never knew it originally wasn't supported on Windows Server 2019.
