The original feature of enabling labeling capabilities in Mac OS is currently available in public preview.
This suggestion was forked from the original general request to release an AIP client for Mac. Applying protection for non-Office files is currently available using the Mac RMS Sharing app which is not deprecated (unlike the Windows release). Therefor the suggestion is standing in order to release an AIP Client for non-Office files in Mac and currently updated to “Under Review”An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Patrick commented
Any plans to support a AIP_UL for MACs?

It would also be good to limit this even more so for example SharePoint or Group Admins could audit logs relevant to their sites. With Modern sites site collection audit logs have been removed and now site admins must relay on the logs for security and compliance center

Provide a Mac AIP_UL client that is consistent with the current Windows AIP_UL client, and is able to classify and protect documents from the desktop and non Office files using sensitivity labels.
