    And it's still not here. Not on on-prem Exchange nor Exchange Online.
    Microsoft, are you even reading this?

    Btw, if you want to turn automapping off for all users on a shared mailbox, try this powershell:

    #get current users with Full Access permissions
    $AutoMappingDisable = Get-MailboxPermission -Identity 'SharedMB' | where {$_.AccessRights -eq "FullAccess" -and $_.IsInherited -eq $false}

    #remove all Full Access permissions
    $AutoMappingDisable | Remove-MailboxPermission

    #Re-add Full Access permissions with Automapping disabled.
    $AutoMappingDisable | ForEach {Add-MailboxPermission -Identity $_.Identity -User $_.User -AccessRights:FullAccess -AutoMapping $false}
