    In a Corporate Environment, or even in an Educational Environment when you are dealing with constantly fluctuating employees who should or should not have access to various Shared Email or Resources provided in Exchange or any other environment, having individuals granted specific permissions is not the most ideal.

    Most best practice concepts is to assign users to groups and having groups specified for who can and cannot do things, otherwise, your hierarchy for things will become unmanageable when additional folders are create and the clean up of said shared resources becomes literally a cludge of multiple undefined SIDs at various levels.

    Even in the place I am in, I am seeing a nightmare of how things are organized by previous admins without the use of security groups to bring a form of sanity not just in the File Sharing area, but also in Shared Mailboxes.
