yes, please; also change colors and reorder, as others have said
I cannot believe more people aren't screaming for this!
My only guess is that there are very few people who actually use and understand *both* Project *and* Planner well enough to see the potential.
I *would* use Project if I could assign tasks to people (and have their tasks show up for them in Planner &/or Outlook). A lot of my colleagues are starting to use Planner for their own ad-hoc, small-team projects, but it is NOT robust enough for the large, multi-stage, and multi-team projects than I need to handle.
So, guess what--I'm using neither right now. :-(
Thanks for this request. We are rolling out the links to planner boards for groups in Outlook desktop from the group card, so that should help get to the planner task list.
This request seems to be asking for the Outlook desktop tasks list to also show planner tasks. Can you help us understand the use cases and details on the actions you expect to perform with planner tasks in Outlook?
The use case is being able to use Outlook as the hub for planning your week, of course!
If separate tasks are assigned in Planner app or Project app etc, but do NOT show up in Outlook, then people are going to email themselves just to get the task into Outlook. And that's just sad.
Thanks for your feedback. We are currently thinking about this. Can you please let us know what scenarios your organization uses shared mailboxes for and what options do you use. This will help us.

I'd add the option to disable email notifications of "Announcements" (for a given group), as these are over-used by some group owners.
