This can be done with Owner permissions (maybe Editor permissions) on the mailbox.
Figured this out recently on a resource mailbox, client has a shared ZoomAccount for video conferencing
I assume the same process would work
    Give yourself Access via Powershell

    Connect-ExchangeOnline
    $adminUser = yourAccount@domain.com
Add-MailboxFolderPermission -User $adminUser -AccessRights owner -Identity ZoomCalendar

    ## Note I did the whole mailbox not just the calendar. Categories apply to more than just the calendar. Then I just created new Categories in Outlook and when creating you can name them whatever you'd like. Once Created you cannot rename but you can delete the default categories and name the new ones however you'd like.

Probably best practice to remove the permissions once you're happy with your setup

    ## Powershell remove access
    Remove-MailboxFolderPermission -User $adminUser -Identity ZoomCalendar

Hi, As announced at Ignite Sep 2020, we will be making this functionality available as an open source tool by the end of the year. It can be used to pull in 1 or more security groups (nested or not) to drive the membership of a M365 Group. The membership will be pulled in as a flat list and kept in sync with the security group membership. However, if you have a pressing need for it before then, please reach out to GMMSupport@service.microsoft.com for a download of the tool. There is no support provided for the tool from Microsoft, other than answering any question around how we use it here. Link to the tool demo at Ignite: Making IT more efficient with improvements to Microsoft 365 Groups – https://aka.ms/Admin1011

I'd love to be able to have a check that can warn the users.
DIsplay name matches an internal user but from an external sender.
