    In the next few months we will be completely moving away from on-premises fileshares to SharePoint Online, and I fear that this issue will cause a negative view toward O365 in general that will hurt adoption of all the other amazing features.

    Extending this request -- the "Save" button is available. The title bar says "saving," then "Saved to SharePoint," but it doesn't register as a version in Version History. I can't make sure I have a clean version of my file to revert to if something goes wrong later on because I have no indication of when a "restorable" version is created.
