This is a ridiculous limitation. Why can't we have nice things Microsoft? When the drop-down menu says "All Mailboxes" I want it to search ALL MAILBOXES.

Why Microsoft, why can't you just enable these simple things to make our lives easier? This exact functionality works in Outlook Online, so why can't it be implemented in the the desktop client?

Thanks for the feedback! Can you provide more information how additional group calendars will be used? do you see same group membership across all calendars? Please keep the feedback and votes coming! Thanks!

I think there should be an option to make this conversion. However, it's important to note that some features of a Shared Mailbox are not available in an O365 Group. Mail cannot be organized into folders, which is a necessary feature for some use cases.

They're clearly not going to fix this after two years. Likely due to the MSOL module being deprecated in favor of the AAD module, which is not a complete replacement and doesn't provide all of the same functionality.

This is such an obvious feature that is missing... I shouldn't have to rig up PowerShell scripts in order to automate the sending of a welcome message to new users.

This is an essential feature for some of my users, they're used to "Shared Mailboxes" that have the ability for sub-folders to be created. We want to migrate everyone over to O365 Groups in order to save on licensing costs, but the lack of this feature is holding us back.

How has this been open for three years and had no response?
We would like to have the ability for users to *see* their quarantined messages, but not for them to release them. It's fine if they can *request* that they be released, which should then notify an admin.
Barring that, we should at least be able to turn off user managed quarantine. Unless I'm incorrect, as it stands there is no way to turn this off for my users.

I completely agree with this, and dpsmith's suggestion of the safelink being wrapped in an anchor tag with the display equal to the original link would be a perfect addition.

Adding my vote to this as well. Why is this value able to be changed in Exchange Server but not Exchange Online, it makes no sense... Not every organization can have someone monitoring things over the weekend Microsoft, let alone holiday weekends. If you can't give us the option to change this value, then at least make it 5 days to match Exchange Server and allow us some leeway.
