We have the same issue here, users create in Excel 365 Desktop app which displays dates in UK date format then share via Teams / SharePoint, when opened in Excel Online (default for Teams) it uses US date format which confuses our users. Same goes for SharePoint Online, all previous version info is in PST and US date format, not useful in the UK.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this issue. We’re currently investigating why you are seeing the US date format.
We have the same issue with Excel Online using US date format which is confusing our users especially when they have created the spreadsheet in Desktop version of Excel 365 which formats UK dates correctly...then there's the time zone issue with SharePoint always using PST when we are GMT
I have just had a request from our Information Governance team for 3rd party Outlook plugin which allows them to redact and export emails to PDF. It would be much better if eDiscovery tool could redact and export directly from the O365 portal.
I don't even get a progress indicator in the system tray! There is a splash screen that states it must close office apps before it can update them but after I click continue it goes away and I've no idea what's going on. After several minutes of seemingly no activity I try and open Outlook for example and it fails to open with a 'can't initialise' error. I found out by accident that the apps reopen once they've finished updating. Perhaps MS could add some text to that effect in the splash screen?
Thought this already existed, I even wrote up a design for RBAC based on Synced AD Security Groups! Need this ASAP please.
