    This is a necessity. When an organization dictates the photo that can be used and is notuploaded by the user, there has to be a way to force the synchronization. We could do it on on premise SharePoint, the same functionality ought to also exist in SharePoint online.

    We don't know necessarily when pictures are syncing and when they are not, it usually takes the user complaining before we know.

    I've seen several posts where people have reported that O365 will do the sync for them, however they refuse to do it for my organization.

    Can't believe this function/feature doesn't already exists. Constantly get bugged from HR department because they think something is wrong with SharePoint or that the pictures weren't uploaded when they were.

    Adding to the other comments, although the MSI goes a long way, still not ready for an RDS/Citrix environment.
