Stream needs data retention policies ASAP. Without this the storage in stream is growing and is unchecked. A Freedom of Information request could result in legal liability due to the lack of retention policies for Stream.

Disabling the welcome mail is possible with an extra parameter in the Set-UnifiedGroup cmdlet in Exchange PowerShell: -UnifiedGroupWelcomeMessageEnabled:$false. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/users-and-groups/set-unifiedgroup

Use this as a part of a custom group creation flow if you would like to restrict and/or customize the welcome mail for many groups across your tenant.

At this point, the Office 365 service only allows for the retention of audit entries for 90 days. Can you provide us more information regarding your requirement to keep logs for 3 years. Is this a legal obligation? Please provide details around the specific audit entries you would like to retain for an extended period of time.

We are often asked for details form logs beyond the current remit of 90 days. Whilst we could do some back handed things like using Splunk (which takes a lot of effort and isn't 100% reliable as you are taking the data out of one place and putting it somewhere else and therefore you lose the validity and reliability) but this should be available for all by default. This is an ongoing service but the logs are often required some time after the original event occurred.

As another has mentioned -this is Office 365 and not Office90! :)

Thanks for the feedback! Can you provide more information about how you prefer guest policies to work and if you think allowing guests the same level of permissions as any other member is desirable? Additionally, would you like to control policies for specific guests or just have blanket policy for all guests? Please keep the feedback and votes coming! Thanks!

Thinking about it was set in September 2017 - but still no further update. This is a tragic waste and needs to be rectified.

The calendar for the group also needs to be surfaced into MS Teams easily.
