We do have an active development team for Invoicing, and your suggestion has just been added to their backlog. We’ll get someone to look into this very soon, and hopefully we’ll get this out in an update within too long.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this! We will consider adding support for non-VAT registered businesses. In the meanwhile, please contact your accountant to make sure you’re VAT exempt and they might advise about the feasibility of mark your service as zero rated in the app.
It seems bizarre that a service that is aimed at small businesses should have no provision for businesses that do not need to register for VAT. I’m wondering if the US development team appreciates that there is a threshold for VAT registration and businesses below this threshold do not register and cannot use a VAT invoice? This limitation is particularly incomprehensible as most businesses that are over the VAT threshold will probably have a full accounting package and won’t need this simple invoicing capability.

Are you ever going to fix this? Invoicing is of no use until you do.
Further information on this. In the invoices list, the dates are shown in the correct local format - DDMMYY in this case - but the invoices editing screen shows the US format - MMDDYY - as do the invoices themselves when sent to the customer. So it looks like the settings are being picked up but are not being applied correctly.
Thanks for responding. I don't thing Edge has separate browser language preferences as far as I can see? All the setting I can find - Office 365, Business Center and Windows 10 Control Panel are correct. Also, the same issue is happening when I create an invoice in iPhone app. It would be very much appreciate it if you could fix this, as it the date confusion makes Invoicing pretty much unusable.
Contacts currently sync between Outlook Customer Manager and Business center.
Is there additional data you want synced?
The standard contact details sync but the lead/customer field does not sync. It should!
Thank you for your feedback! We’re thinking about supporting multiple currencies, but for the time being, you can only invoice your customers in your own currency. However, they can then pay PayPal in their own currency, so you can have customers outside your own country.
