I would love to see this feature as well. The ability to "follow" documents is no longer in the modern view for libraries, so it is becoming harder for users to keep track of relevant documents. Delve seems like the solution, but right now it is disjointed as some have pointed out, since you have to surface the document in Delve separately from SharePoint.

I agree that it would be great to have a more powerful search in Delve. We too are trying to encourage the use of Delve to find and organize documents across site collections. Delve boards are very useful, but users must first find the documents in Delve. Being able to add documents to Delve favorites and boards from SharePoint would also be very helpful. Either way, users just need to be able to easily find and organize documents and with the modern views excluding the "follow" feature, Delve seems what we should be encouraging. It's just not easy right now to reliably find content in Delve.
