As part of this it would be good to just include or just exclude Teams groups as a collective set of groups in a Policy. Currently the only way to do this is to manually select the Teams which is a huge management overhead when all users can create Teams.
The Teams Admin center gives the expectation that it is possible to do set a general group expiration policy for all of Teams (or at least it does to me) but when you go into the Group Expiration settings it's much more detailed than that and requires more administration time to keep it going.
So the ability to automatically have the expiration policy apply only to all Teams groups would be a great bonus.

The alternative to this setting is to use WIP but this does require some enrollment (even when it is called MAM-WE), so that is not a satisfactory alternative - even more so if you need this solution to manage Teams as Teams is not an enlightened app for WIP :-(

I agree, a Teams site is all about a group of people working together but not as far as having a shard calendar for that Team. There is also no Connector from PowerApps to Shared Calendars which would be very helpful for PowerApps developed to work with a Teams site.

Or even better would be to have a version history of the Policies so that you can track changes made to them over time.

It would be great to be able to search for changes to conditional access as an item is the filters in the Audit log too. It is tricky find out what has changed without knowing who might have changed it.

I agree, I really don't want to become an admin of all the SharePoint sites I wish to exclude/include in a Retention Policy - it would be good if the Retention Policy would just allow a Global Admin who was creating or editing the Policy to see all sites regardless of their SharePoint/Teams permissions. After all sites may need to be retained/excluded from Retention that the SharePoint Admin can't access, but being able to see the URL of it in a Retention Policy isn't that same thing at all.

I agree. The fact that we can't do this could lead our single client to end up with three (or more) tenants, so it is desperately needed.
