The current tooling for eDiscovery does not allow for content protected with sensitivity labels to be discovered using eDiscovery.

If MS’s eDiscovery tools cannot even see the documents, organizations would not be able to comply with any litigation hold obligations and discovery collection obligations. All/Most companies would face sanctions if it didn’t comply with preservation obligations and obligations to collect the documents and provide them to the other side as part of the litigation process.

Agreed, this causes a bit of confusing mess where our users think they have Project but instead are just greeted with a message that says contact your admin to use Project. It seems like an oversight to have tiles listed for users to access that in reality they don't have access to.

I neglected to mention we did submit a premier ticket for this issue (117041915623965) and was advised to submit this issue on User Voice. The response from the support engineer "the Product Group, after considering the impact of the issue across the Office 365 service, have advised they will not be working to provide a fix at this point in time. The workaround is to continue to close the current session, and reopen a new session to reconnect."
