We are working on many of these report areas right now. We have a tenant-wide user activity report in development right now. The next report we will work on will be a tenant-wide site usage and activity report. After that, we will look at various other tenant-wide reports, including page-views, and storage metrics.

With Communication sites my site owners are expecting a greater level of reporting to be able to tell over time what are the most popular pages. There is a view of the most popular pages for the last 7 days, but not something over the life of the site.

This has been set to working on it since February 2017. Do we need to promote it more to get more votes for prioritization?

SharePoint Service Administrators should be site collection administrators for all SharePoint sites in their tenant regardless of how they are created (Office 365 Group, Planner, etc.)
This has become a big problem for us from a support standpoint.

Following up on the previous update, if a workload (such as Planner) is enabled for Outlook by default, we don’t plan on hiding those groups from the GAL. The only other scenario currently under consideration where we would hide groups by default is “Secret Groups”. “Secret Groups” would be hidden from everywhere unless you are a member. “Secret groups” is on the Microsoft 365 Groups backlog, but there is no delivery date available at this time.
