Make it a choice for the Delve-admin to choose what type that would be able to get searched in Delve.
We’re working on this feature, and we hope to release later this spring. In our implementation, members of groups with hidden membership will not be visible to non-members; i.e. a non-member browsing these groups in the GAL will see no members in the group.

We’re considering how this could be implemented across the group identity.

It’s a very difficult problem to solve since group membership is consumed across many different aspects of Microsoft 365. Thanks for your patience and keep the feedback coming!
“Secret groups” is still on the Microsoft 365 Groups backlog, but there is no delivery date available at this time.
