Saddly, no one from Microsoft ever answered. Even if they now provide a solution to that with To-Do.

Users are not able to get clean links to put on pages or news articles. Getting a link to open in an app like Nuances or Adobe is way too complex.

I don't understand why there is not a single place to get a link without and extra characters

Disabling the welcome mail is possible with an extra parameter in the Set-UnifiedGroup cmdlet in Exchange PowerShell: -UnifiedGroupWelcomeMessageEnabled:$false. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/exchange/users-and-groups/set-unifiedgroup

Use this as a part of a custom group creation flow if you would like to restrict and/or customize the welcome mail for many groups across your tenant.

We should be able to change the page for a custom one where request would be handled. At least, provide a way to hook a process start a Flow / LogicApp.

Any update? We need to be able to select path (/teams) and default language. Timezone also needs to be set but this can be done with a script afterward.

    Hi All,

Thanks for this request. We are rolling out the links to planner boards for groups in Outlook desktop from the group card, so that should help get to the planner task list.
This request seems to be asking for the Outlook desktop tasks list to also show planner tasks. Can you help us understand the use cases and details on the actions you expect to perform with planner tasks in Outlook?

    Thanks.

This could be usefull as long as the way templates are handled is fixed. We should be able to create documents from template in SharePoint. See this https://office365.uservoice.com/forums/264636-general/suggestions/33308170-make-dotx-xltx-potx-templates-work-on-sharepo

I also think a flag per group is a better option than a white list.
