    Our current in-house DLP system does this. This has significantly increased awareness. Two primary reasons for this. It informs the supervisor of:
    1) A potentially insecure business process so they can fix it.
    2) If there is any suspected wrongdoing, the manager can escalate the event.

    In our environment, part of our HTML based message says "Your manager has been notified of this potentially insecure process or procedure." and explains how to correct. Event details such as sender, subject, recipients is included. Put supervisor in as CC carbon copy.

    I agree. Policy tips are great for making users aware of data when your organization has not yet made it to block mode or when match count thresholds do not meet blocking rules. This is certainly important when you have several domains on one tenant but only want DLP enabled on selected domains.
