This uservoice request is open and unanswered since april 2016.
I can't believe it's true.
Shared Mailboxes are commonly used in nearly any environment.
Not only that you cannot access the quarantine for the shared mailbox as a full access privileged user, you can also not delegate explicitly global quarantine Management without giving a user one of the default RBAC-roles, which is the only option to switch the Security & Compliance in "global view" mode. The option cannot be to exclude all Shared Mailboxes from Antispam/AV-protection. PLEASE Microsoft change this !Thomas Windscheif supported this idea ·

Still nothing on the roadmap?!?!
I really can't believe that the current behaviour is useable for Enterprise customers.
There is a possibility to redirect onPremise-User to Cloud but not from Cloud to OnPremise.
I don't want to inform on a per users-basis if he's migrated or migrated back. It can't be so hard to check the ldap-Parameter to get the info where the users'mailbox is homed.Thomas Windscheif supported this idea ·

With Exchange 2016 CU4 and also on Exchange Online you now can configure this via Set-CASMailbox -Identity "Username" -ActiveSyncSuppressReadReceipt $true. Users can also configure this over their Exchange Control Panel in the mobile device section.
It just a few years to a bit more privacy ;).An error occurred while saving the comment Thomas Windscheif commented
It is an Design issue in Exchange OnPremise and Exchange Online. There MUST be a possiblity to disable automatic read receipts on ActiveSync. In both Outlook on the Web and Outlook you can configure the behaviour in the Settings. Why is there no option for ActiveSync behaviour.
Maybe you could create a new Parameter for Set-ActiveSyncVirtualDirectory or a Paramater per Mailbox or per Device to configure this behaviour.

Really a big problem if all users are roadwarriors and you have limited data volume.....
