We recently noticed this as well. After working with a Microsoft technician for a couple weeks they determined it is by design that meeting updates with a subject/body change are automatically deleted. Time or location changes do not get automatically deleted.

It makes no sense to automatically delete a meeting update, it could contain an agenda or other important information so the attendees come unprepared since the organizer thought they would get a message with the updated content.

    Microsoft - please fix this!

Sorting of columns on all admin center screens would be beneficial.

With more and more people using mobile devices I would think Microsoft would see the necessity of this feature. We have some mailboxes that receive time sensitive so don't want to have to be constantly checking to see if new mail has arrived. A notification like you get in the Outlook App when new mail has been delivered would be great. The OWA app supports shared mailboxes but that is being retired in May 2018 so not much help.

Being able to access shared mailboxes from Outlook app on mobile devices is really needed. With more and more people using mobile devices I would think MIcrosoft would see the necessity of this feature. We have some mailboxes, like Helpdesk, that can be time sensitive so don't want to have to be constantly checking to see if new mail has arrived. We’ve completed work to hide groups from Outlook (GAL, left nav, and name resolution) that were created as a result of a new Team in Microsoft Teams. Additional Groups can also be hidden using the HiddenFromExchangeClientsEnabled flag. We’re now evaluating if there are additional scenarios that need to be supported.

Thank you for your responses. We appreciate that you’ve taken the time to provide us with feedback to help make our products better.

We’re actively working on significant improvements to the end user experience with the feature across Outlook clients. This includes improvements to the UX, the classification algorithms, and controls.

Today, admins have a Power-Shell cmdlet that allows them to control the Clutter feature on a per mailbox level. Details of this can be found here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt586787%28v=exchg.160%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Our decision to provide the cmdlet based control for Clutter was based on early feedback we received on the Clutter feature.

We will continue to improve the admin controls based on the continued feedback. Considering the responses on this forum, it would be helpful to better understand the gaps in the current admin control story. Do you believe the gap here is in not having a tenant level control or not having…

This was requested over two years ago. Please provide an option to disable Clutter globally so new mailboxes can be created with Clutter turned off instead of on.
