  1. Native support for protected CSV files

Today, when a CSV is protected we protect it as .csv.pfile. This is an ask to natively support CSV files with .pcsv

  3. Please change the disclaimer option!

If we add disclaimer and having email conversation means, disclaimer is adding multiple times in the bottom of the email. It should add bottom of each email.

  5. Use AI to give recommendation how to classify

It would be cool to have AI in the Background that learns from already classified Documents of one Department or Businessline how critical expressions are related to each other and lead into a certain classification. With this AI-Knowledge the System would be able to recommend or auto-classify new or not yet classified old Files in the right way. This would lead into less manual confiured sensitifity types.
Focus of this idea should be the improvement of the recommendations in a first step without the need of manual configuration.

  6. Apply labels with key strokes

Neither the classification bar, nor the Protect menu seem to be accessible today via key stroke only. Some customer scenarios still include PCs without a mouse. Instead of requiring mouse to apply a non-default label, it would be nice to make labels available via key strokes.

  7. Transport Rules to Modify Email Display Names for External Email

We want to be able to modify how external email displays in Outlook as a further step to combat phishing\spear phishing. Right now we can append text like external email to the subject or body of the message. Our InfoSec teams want us to be able to have the header read:
Smith, John (COP-DAY) when its from our internal senders (traditional display name)
But when its from someone external to our organization read:
john.smith@externaldomain.com with NO display name or potentially false\spam\impersonated display name next to it to fool a user that isnt paying attention. Right now with Outlook 2016 it…

  8. Enable DLP rules for all OneDrives associated with users in a Group or DL

I have a department that wants to apply DLP rules to all of their users OneDrive for Business sites. I want a way to enable this by putting in a DL, Group, or Dynamic Group, so that the DLP rules get applied to all users onedrive's that are in the Group. Right now, I have to manually add every URL by hand.

  9. Add tracking and revocation with for content protected with Sensitivity Labels

We need both tracking and revoking function on built-in labels, like on classic client.
    <Use Cases>
    - Users can prohibit viewing when people other than target person/people view the document.
    - Users can revoke the document when they mis-send it to wrong person/people.
    - Users can revoke the document when they send wrong file.

  10. Notify sender's manager of DLP policy non-compliance

DLP policy builder - Incident Reports
It would be great if there was a check box to notify the offending user's manager (by AAD lookup) as opposed to explicitly defining who the recipient of the message is.

This is highly requested by my EPG customers and is really helpful in end-user training as many Orgs make the users' line manager address these issues, not IT or compliance.

  11. Enable Get-AIPFileStatus /Set-AIPFileLabel on SPO libraries

Currently, it is not supported to excute Get-AIPFileStatus /Set-AIPFileLabel command on SPO libraries.
We would like to use these commands on SPO libraries the same as On-premises SPS.

  12. Refresh visual markings in documents when classified with Windows Explorer shell integration or with Scanner

Apply/update the markings inside the document when right click on a file and apply label or the label is changed, and when the scanner autoclassifies a document.

  13. Support for UL "Label Advanced Settings" and "Label Policy Settings" in across supported platforms

Currently only the windows UL client supports these settings. This means that something as simple as a different default label for Outlook is only available in Windows. Please implement this ASAP as it is the main reason why UL is not ready for production environments, since a different label for Outlook (among other settings) is essential for end-users.

  14. Support for disconnected environments Unified Labeling and built-in sensitivity labels

In special customer scenarios, systems might be completely disconnected and not have direct or indirect access to the cloud service. This is supported in the AIP Classic client. We need an option to distribute the policy manually in the disconnected environment and for protection we need HYOK integration. To enhance the experience (compared to the classic client), bootstrapping the client automatically would really help.
Even if this is some kind of niche scenario, it might be important for many public sector or highly regulated customers.

  15. Allow policies not to automatically grant owner right to document creators

While document creators have by definition unrestricted access to the data they add to the document, having owner rights would allow them to later extract data others have added to the documents they created. Owner rights also allow creators to downgrade classification on documents that have already been classified.
The suggestion is to have a setting on each policy that when enabled does not automatically grant the creator of a document full control rights or the ability to reclassify once the document is closed. This should enable revocation of access for content creators and would also prevent such users from…

  16. Authorize Super User Role with Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

The authorization for the activation of the high-risk role super user should be managed by Azure Privileged Identiy Management. Of course you should also be able to assign users to the role.

  17. Improve support for s/mime signed and protected messages in OWA and Outlook Mobile

Currently, when sender has digitally signed a protected email in Outlook, recipients using OWA or Outlook Mobile will only see the IRM wrapper message.

If recipient uses Outlook 2016, the protected message is deciphered/rendered perfectly fine!

Need a way for scanning email at-rest for identifying GDPR and similar data compliance requirements. today only DLP while in transit is available to identify sensitive email content due to lacking index of this data.
