Apply default label to SharePoint and OneDrive docs
Users may uninstall AIP client to attempt to circumvent AIP policies or just because they find it annoying. If the default label could be applied to any documents in SharePoint or OneDrive could be applied even if AIP client is not present, it would alleviate this potential security end-run.
Typically, end-users will not have admin rights to uninstall applications, but some times it is inescapable, esp in a small business.

Allow for ad-hoc permissions/rights ('Custom Permissions') in Outlook
Allow for ad-hoc permissions/rights ('Custom Permissions') in Outlook 2016 when composing messages, just like you can now do with Custom Permissions in Word/Excel/Powerpoint/Windows Explorer.

Allow users to change default label
Different people have different needs for the default label depending on their day to day job.( working in finance : default = confidential ; working in external communication default = unrestricted)
We liked that users can choose the better appropriate default label . If not possible apply default label to scoped policy (so to users groups).

Allow the use of images in Visual Marking
Integrate the possibility to use image-files (such as: gif, png or jpg) for labeling as footer, header or watermark. The would be a great feature for some customers, so it is possible to support the corporate identity with specific colours and embedded graphics.

Enable language support for Policy Tips in DLP/Security & Compliance
Need the possibility to have Policy Tips for DLP rules in multiple languages when created in Office 365 Security & Compliance (as you can do in Exchange Online Admin). The policy tip should match the language you have in Office. Now it's mixed with the static text in the Policy Tip and the custom text you have entered in the rule

Add ability to append text to subject line
Exchange Online currently does not have an option that allows for adding text at the end of the subject, only the option to Prepend the subject. Need to have options to both Append and Prepend the subject line (same as Disclaimers). We've received feedback from our users that adding the tag at the beginning of the subject line causes issues when sorting mail by Subject.

Limit actions done by Macros
There are many request from customers to limit the actions that can be done with Macros.
Right now, if [Allow Macros] is granted as a usage right, any kind of Macro can be executed (like Macros to copy data from a protected file and paste it into a text file which is not protected). Therefore, customer's request is to be able to limit the actions that can be done with Macros on protected files.
For example, allow only "Read-Only" Macros. Please consider the idea of implementing a feature that would allow customers to limit the actions that can be done…

Allow modification to Do Not Forward template
The DNF template has restrictions on copy, print and export. Some customers would like to modify this template for example to allow print.
Maybe also a possibility to add a company wide scope of users to this dynamic rule like the request in
https://msip.uservoice.com/forums/600097-azure-information-protection/suggestions/19602400-dynamic-protection-templatesAnd the possibility for the sending user to add more users to the permission list with BCC and without BCC
for example if Sara@contoso.com send DNF to Anna@contoso.com and Lisa@adatum.com but wants Anna@contoso.com to be co-owner.
if Sara@contoso.com send DNF to Lisa@adatum.com but wants her team to be co-owner.

Multi Language Support for visual marking
Would like enhanced multi-language support for visibility markers within Office 365 documents that use Azure Information Protection.
Currently visibility markers only display in one language

Provide preconfigured policies for regulatory compliance such as GDPR
Create a template that helps assist organizations to identify personal details within content and files. Suggestions would be to look at telephone number/post code/IP address/e-mail address/gender/NHS number etc.
If there could be auditing that shows where this data resides when identified and give central IT a means to track it, that would provide high value in remaining compliant and avoiding fines.31 votes -
Allow rules to run before spam filter or allow rules to pull items from Junk folder
PLEASE VOTE to allow rules to run before spam filter or allow rules to pull items from Junk folder.
MS Engineer suggest I post this here to get votes so maybe it will happen - it is a good idea!
While Office 365 / Outlook did an acceptable job at trying to catch Junk Mail and Clutter but myself and my clients have grown tired of how these filters actually create more clicks and work for us and we miss important emails – I’m sure you will personally agree that we all watch our Inbox on all our devices and…

Rename and change order / priority of DLP Policies and Rules
There needs to be a way to rename the new DLP Policies and their Rules - even if it is just via PowerShell. Orders and priorities need to be changeable as well. The fact that they have to be recreated is unmanageable when there are lots of policies or rules.

Add marking to Outlook message subject as a prefix or suffix (configurable)
Allow for a configurable prefix or suffix to be added to the subject line of an Outlook message. For example - my message subject is "Testing" when I classify this as Confidential the subject line becomes "Testing [C]" adding in an abbreviated form of the classification for quick reference and visibility in the inbox.

Use Machine Learning to automatically classify content without fixed rules.
Microsoft has recently invested in Machine Learning technologies that can detect patterns and correlate different pieces of content. These are currently used for e-Discovery and other capabilities. Leveraging these capabilities to automatically classify content by correlating it with other pieces of protected content would provide more automatic classification, reduce false positives and lighten the load on administrators so they don't have to constantly update classification rules.

Add tracking and revocation with for content protected with Sensitivity Labels
We need both tracking and revoking function on built-in labels, like on classic client.
<Use Cases>
- Users can prohibit viewing when people other than target person/people view the document.
- Users can revoke the document when they mis-send it to wrong person/people.
- Users can revoke the document when they send wrong file.28 votes -

Modify Subject Line
I have a transport rule to prepend EXTERNAL to the subject line when the message comes from Outside of the Organization.
If I reply to that message, I would like to remove the EXTERNAL from the subject line.
I can only see options to prepend or append but am interested in a way to remove what I put into the subject line so that our external customers do not see that designation in the subject.
Maybe some sort of regular expression?I could just put a message line in the body of the message, but removing the word EXTERNAL from…
