  1. Suppress repeat DLP alerts

When an email triggers an alert, it continues to send them as each reply to the thread is sent.

I believe that the users involved should continue to get alerts, but admins should have an option to suppress repeat alerts. Having 10 alerts for the same identifier does not help us investigate, it just creates noise for us to work through.

  2. Report

Need to be able to report on what emails are stored in the protection portal and when they are viewed. I realize the capabilities are relatively new but the inability to have visibility/reporting into this is extremely frustrating.

  4. No alert for PII email with blank subject line

There is no alert in Security and Compliance for an email containing PII with a blank subject. User notification and policy tip work.

  5. Remove OWA dependency in OME v2 when sending between O365 tenants

We have a need to keep OWA disabled for security purposes. When we receive a message from another 365 tenant who has applied rights protection (OME v2) the shortcut to the document is to OWA. So we can't access the file without enabling OWA.

  6. AIP Client - Provide capability for custom install option in AIP Client (No PowerShell and Scanner bits for Central Deployment)

We are planning to leverage the .msi version of AIP client for central deployment and would like to install only the core AIP client components such as add-ins, viewer and RMS clients, but PowerShell modules and Scanner are optional for our end users. Looking at post install options to remove AIP.dll and Scanner bits. wondering if there is any plan to provide custom installation option in future releases ?

  7. AIP Scanner - identify PxI and redact sensative data elements

Speech to text transcription services may output text that contains sensitive information such as credit card (PCI) numbers. It would be very useful to leverage pre-defined AIP Scanner policies to identify PCI data elements in the text files and also redact or overwrite the PCI data instead of just applying a label or protecting the file. Ideally this would be an Azure API service call or cmdlet.

  8. Please add to pre-define template alert policies “if suddenly no emails are sent or blocked" per user

Please add to pre-defined anomaly template to alert “if an user sends an average of 40 emails per day and if suddenly no emails are sent or blocked”.

  9. Office 365 Message Encryption that doesn't require sign in or OTP

Add the ability to encrypt the email without requiring a OTP or sign in from the recipient side. Many organizations are not accepting emails that require you to sign in for security purposes. It would be helpful if the message could just be delivered encrypted without a OTP or sign in.

  11. Add Is Not Member of a Group in Message Transport Rules

currently you only have rules that check for Member Of a group, please allow us to crate Transport Rules for Member Is Not in a group, this would really help

  12. Unencrypt Replies Automatically Based on Recipient Being Internal Not Sender

the old OME 1 allows us to enencrypt replies automatically based on the recipient being Inside the Organization, the new version of OME only does it if the Sender is in the Organization, please allow us to unencrypt the replies coming back in to our company based on the recipient being inside the organization, it's a pretty common need

  13. Allow us to rewrite the Subject like your competitors have been doing for years

when we encrypt a message we use a [secure] tag in the subject we want to remove that tag after the message gets encrypted, but you do not allow it

  14. Add "Sender is" in conditions or exceptions of DLP.

Currently, the conditions and exceptions can be only applied to recipients. It will better if DLP support conditions and exceptions set to senders.

  15. Custom sensitive information type - Allow minimum count for regex

The GUI does not allow the minimum count for regex, only keywords. By allowing minimum count for Regex. This is to ensure eDiscovery search cases provide the same response as DLP policies.

  16. Encryption for Exchange Online (plan1)

Outlook.com currently offers seamless out-of-box-experience for encryption.

    https://support.office.com/en-us/article/learn-about-encrypted-messages-in-outlook-com-3521aa01-77e3-4cfd-8a13-299eb60b1957

however, Exchange Online (plan1) supports only S/MIME which needs extensive configuration.

    https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/exchange/2014/12/15/how-to-configure-smime-in-office-365/

can we have a similar OOBE in Exchange Online (plan1)?

  18. notification

A sender-notification action should be available in Transport Rules. This would be great to notify internal senders that their content contained sensitive data and then was acted upon in some way. Currently, only recipient notification is available.

Security & Compliance Center allows the admin to create lengthy notice messages to the sender, but doesn't allow dynamic content of the sort available in T-Rules -- the %%parameter%% attributes for sender, subject, etc. (See https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/eopfieldnotes/2015/01/16/recipient-notifications/#comment-23875).

Alternately those dynamic attributes could be made available in SC&C, which already has the option for sender notifications.

  19. Option to allow users to edit automatically applied headers and footers persistently

Allow users to edit headers and footers. Sometimes it is necessary to put the access group according to the classification.
For example: Information Classification: Confidential Access group: Finance
When I edit the headers or footers and save the text, the text is cleared.

  20. Governance

Data Governance - SharePoint and OneDrive Default Retention labels and Asset Id from Folder

Documents without retention labels already applied (or documents that have their labels cleared, None) which are placed in folders with a Retention Label with an Event Type, should get both the Retention Label as well as the Asset Id (ComplainceAssetId) that is set on the folder the document is placed into.
