Add workflow actions to Labels
Add new options for expiring labels (removal and/or replacement) based on time, approvals to make changes and notifications on change.

Our use case is that certain documents should be labelled as 'confidential' for a certain time frame, and subsequently then become 'public' or some other classification / label set. Financial reports are the obvious example for us as a Bank. Once we release them, they are no longer confidential, and we know when we are planning on releasing them.
There will be other use cases, but this is the primary case.
Understand this is addressed to an extent with "protection" but we actually want the document to be available past the date, rather than unavailable. Further, this is a labelling requirement to us, not just a protection requirement.

I have a few follow-up questions:
1) Can you elaborate on this with a sample flow?
2) What are the data sources for the file that needs to be rights protected?
3) When you say "data that is being sent out", how is this being sent out? Over email? How does your PowerApps workflow fit in?
I'm trying to understand how our SDK-based approach is different from a REST-based approach needed for PowerApps.

Provide the ability for a MS Flow to apply a rights management template to data that is being sent out of the organization. this may need to be integrated with PowerApps

Allow expiration date similar to documents/file. So, user would be able to set expiration date for emails so recipient shouldn't be able to access emails after expiration due date

Agree - we have a business case to be able to expire protection after a given time. Example - we have defined pieces of secret information that we know we want protected until a known date, at which time it is no longer secret and protection could be removed.

Agreed - this is very relevant for production companies, where the development process is secret until the release of the product

adding a retention policy for the labels is very important. A lot of content can needs to be confidential for specific period then it will be public such as announcing the earning or budget of the company. Confidential label will apply RMS protection, then once the earnings announced (i.e. end of the year), then automatically on specific date, the next time someone opens the document, classification will be change to public and remove the RMS protection.

When the sensitivity level is changed, the owner of the document is notified.
