Give the Microsoft Editor access to the Office365 dictionary
Apparently, Microsoft Editor was already somehow enabled in EdgeDev without my having to approve its being added. So suddenly, I now keep seeing my surname highlighted as being misspelled in Gmail and on other websites. So I downloaded the Edge extension and signed in with my Office365 ID in the hope that it will access my roaming dictionary and stop highlighting my name as misspelled. No joy, however. Why even bother to release this extension if users can't add to or use their Office365 dictionary? I have patience with new apps, but deliberately not being able to access and add to a dictionary makes this app useless in its present form. Is there a way to just turn it off in EdgeDev until this app actually is useful? And now it's even highlighting the last word and question mark in the previous sentence as being misspelled. Seriously??? This extension needed a lot more work before being released to users.
I agree. Technologically, it would be easy. All it would take would be a secure database with email addresses of Office 365 users paired with their Editor settings, that all MS platforms could access.

We need the roaming dictionary to be across devices anyway - Word for iPad etc.
It is frustrating that one of the core elements of Office is not fully shared.
