Allow adminstrators to manage Microsoft Search through PowerShell and APIs
While the search adminstration tasks all have import and export options, they currently require an administrator to sit in front of the admin center and complete them manually. As far as I can tell there are no PowerShell modules or REST APIs that allow you to update things like bookmarks, acronyms Q&As and locations programatically. Please add these options in order to allow us to automate some parts of the management.

Move Outlook Search Box
The latest version of Outlook 365 forces the Search Box to appear in the Title Bar. Looks clunky and hard to move the window. It would be good if users had the option to move this to where it used to be (just above emails).

search bar change
i don't have an idea just a statement, please bring back the old search bar in Outlook, the new search bar for retrieving old mail is totally unproductive and useless.

Improve Country list in Bookmarks
The country list for bookmarks is currently based on the Bing Marketplace values, but this list of countries is limited. Sourcing the country list from Azure Active Directory would provide a much more comprehensive list to choose from.

Add Microsoft Search to GCC and GCCH
Microsoft Search is unavailable to O365 users in GCC and GCCH clouds. This significantly reduces the usability and desirability of O365 for most organizations moving to the government cloud.

Allow bookmarks to be scoped
Scoped so you can decide if they should appear on all search results - such as when searching sites in SPO. Or the default behavior, when searching at the organizational level

Auto import updates to Search Acronyms
Our Acronyms are managed via a separate system (Collibra). It would be helpful to have a way to create a Flow or API/PowerShell that imports updates from that system to Search Acronyms.

Customize synonym list tenant-wide
Hi,
Is it possible to create a possibility to create custom synonym list for Microsoft Search? It would be nice to see results for example if you search for "auto" (Dutch word for car) that you also see all the results for "bedrijfswagen" (Dutch word for company car).
Thanks!

Categories for Bookmarks and Q&A
The bookmarks and Q&A lists get large quickly. As we are planning to distribute the management on these resources to their individual owners (HR, IT, etc.) it would be helpful to be able to provide category filters so those admins can easily locate all of their bookmarks and Q&A entries without having to hunt.

Outlook search bar
This should be a choice per user to keep original view or new current view.. word and excel have option to turn it off but Outlook doesn’t, viewing should option should be included as a choice rather then just on or off..

Please add New Zealand as a region in the Admin centre - region settings
NZ is missing as a region setting. If we expect our NZ empoyees to adopt SharePoint Online, being able to make NZ content more relevant would help.

Include the same customization capability that has always been in SharePoint search.
For years we have had the ability to successfully customize SharePoint search with managed properties, crawl rules, query rules, result sources, it goes on and on. With MS Search you have taken that flexibility away. So now half of our tenant gets one search experience and the other half (Modern sites) get what they get. Put the two together with full functionality or give us an option to use classic search in Modern sites. It's getting really frustrating explaining to users that a Best Bet is now a Promoted Result or it could be a Bookmark depending on where you…

Return direct links to public Microsoft Teams, not just to the SharePoint side
Microsoft Search returns all SharePoint sites that a user has access too, however, many of these sites are now the backend of thriving Microsoft Teams sites. Having users find and land on the SharePoint home page in these cases is not useful.
Two possible improvements. Either, make the link to the public Teams sites show up as along side the SharePoint results (with some icon to distinguish the two), or put a prominent link to the Teams site on the home page of the SharePoint site.

Unassigned seating in floor plans
We have several locations that have open seating on each floor, rather than designated seats. Currently, those users show up in Bing Search with no link to floor plans. It would be useful if search results would show the floor plan for the floor the employee resides on (minus the pin). This would allow users to see where the open seating areas of the floor are, so they know approximately where to find the person they are looking for. Additionally, it would provide a similar experience across different user queries, rather than having some that have an office link (and…

Allow the uploading of Visio Floor Plans as well as AutoCad
The current implementation allows the importing of dwg files with tags set for room numbers: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftsearch/floorplans-bestpractices. We have visio diagrams of our building layouts and no Autocad or dwg version or any idea how to tag them using the Autocad software. So hopefully there will be a method in the future of uploading visio floorplans instead.
