Enable Microsoft Edge sync for Business Essentials users
I'm a subscribed to the Business Essentials plan and was excited for Microsoft Edge to come to iOS and macOS. However, I noticed that Microsoft Edge doesn't support synchronization across devices on the Business Essentials plan.
According to Microsoft Support, you need to have at least the E3 plan (20$ per month) to get sync to work.
I don't get why? My personal account (an old email address) can sync for free, so why does a paying customer not get this basic function?

I started migrating my services over from Google - I then noticed in the Edge browser that sync wasn't working. More digging, and I realised it wasn't available for all MS365 plans.
I'm on the Microsoft 365 basic plan. Once I realised MS wasn't allowing sync for me on purpose (and it wasn't a technical issue), my migration screeched to a halt.
Seriously considering pulling everything back out of MS due to this bone-headed decision. Cross device browser sync is one of my most-utilised background services, used multiple times per day; it is unvaluable to most users. How can MS expect uptake in their services/away from Chrome if something this simple isn't available in the new Edge browser for paying users??
The kick in the nuts is that the free hotmail / outlook.com versions sync fine!

This adds a significant cost and management burden. Can we fix this please or the only way is that we need Azure AD P1 or P2...
