If Microsoft Bookings could be enabled in Office 365 for education plan it would be a perfect tool for booking Parent/Teacher Meetings

This is one of the most useful additional apps in Office 365 for schools in times of pandemie. unfortunately not licenced yet.

Due to the current climate it is imperative in so many ways that this app becomes available as part of the A1 license. Schools especially are underfunded and are now in unprecedented times with regards to Covid19.In order to move forward with the times and climate, we must be able to continue our communication with parents in the best way possible. The bookings app is an ideal tool to use and will sell Microsoft's ability to keep with the times so well.

Please enable bookings for Office 365 for Education E3,E5. It's clear that you have enabled it for Edu. A3, A5 but it is not available for O365 for EDU E3, E5.
Thank you!

My university has the Education A1 (free) plan, and they do not want to pay for the A3 plan with Bookings included.
As a 'workaround', does anyone know if I could buy one standalone Microsoft 365 Business Standard plan (with Bookings), and use that to create a booking site where students (on the free A1 plan) could make appointments with teachers (also on the free A1 plan)?
I suspect one downside might be that the Bookings app would not be linked to the student IDs, but I don't think this would prevent this idea from working.
Has anyone else tried this?

Please include Bookings in A1 - may be a great driver for O365 adoption. Which would in turn be a great driver for graduates (when entering businesses)

That‘s the exact use case that I thought of when I went through the chaotic process of schedule these meetings for a „meeting-evening“ last week!

It's enable for Office 365 A3, but I do not see the option "require an Office 365 account to book".

I understand that it is available on paid for Education subscriptions, but it would be of tremendous benefit for those on A1 subscriptions.
Schools are facing a serious lack in funding and Microsoft does a great thing in providing A1 for free, but the real test would be if more of its bolt-on's were at zero cost to schools.

actually a stronger implementation would be to allow parents and NON o365 people to be invited into teams, then the bookings and other functions would work better!

@RikH,
I think you can access it, but it just doesn't show up on your app launcher. Go to https://outlook.office.com/owa/#path=/bookings and set it up. Seems to work fine for our Edu tenant.
