  1. Managing expense items

    I provide professional services. Some invoice items I can easily add using the hour, day or specific service structure. However I recharge expenses (travel and accommodation for example). This item will vary on every invoice. At the moment I can create an Expense item and manually change the value. This is okay except that I have to enter the price inclusive of VAT which is annoying. Is this is the best way to handle this item? Other than the VAT issue having an unpriced item that forces a manual value to be entered would ensure I didn't accidentally send out…

      We are considering adding the option of prices exclusive of VAT. You can create that Expense item and mark it as VAT = 0 and therefore VAT won’t be calculated in this item.
      Regarding the manual change of value, we don’t see any good alternative right now as the amount (e.g. travel and accommodation) will be different from one invoice to the other.

      • Let customers changes credit cards from different countries

        I have a business account with a credit card from Hong Kong. I want to shift to a credit card from Sweden. The only way I can do that is to end my account and start a new one. It may somehow be related to the users being in China, but I don't know. In any case it's a typical example of how a company's internal organization carries over to a customer, for whom there is no logic to this. I think Microsoft should figure out internally how to move accounts between accounting units in the company, and not bother…

          • put the date format as UK - invoicing is useless unless this is fixed.

              • let me see the payments I've made within hours, not weeks (ref. case #12292597)

                I paid for Office 365 several weeks ago, but there was no record of the payment on my MS account, only on my bank statements.

                Apparently I need to wait for the billing cycle to end, then for it to be a week day.

                Crazy that I have to look up my MS payments with my bank, not with MS.

                    • Use total payments when calculating threshold for invoiced payments.

                      I have around 50 Office365 for Business and Essentials licenses which are paid by invoice. I also have a smaller number of Skype for Business and Exchange Online licenses which are paid by Credit Card. I would like to amalgamate all the payments to invoicing. But invoiced payment is currently not available for the Skype and Exchange bills.

                      • Setup automatically invoice payment reminder

                        We need a feature to submit invoice payment reminders to the clients if the invoice has not been paid on the due date. The feature should allow us how often the reminder should be sent and the criticality level. For example if the client didn’t pay on the due date system automatically submit a friendly reminder. The vendor can provide a new date for payment and if accepted by us it will show the new date as per client request with history. If the client doesn’t pay by the new due date another friendly reminder would be submitted. We can…

                            • The ability to create a master invoice template that can be applied to recipients.

                              I have a customer looking to create a master invoice template(s) that would apply to specific groups that they are trying to manage. Instead of entering each invoice item line by line, there should be a way to link a recipient to a template.

                              • Allow Ink Editor on Microsoft Word for Macbook Pro (Non Touch)?

                                The Ink Editor feature for MS Word is only available for the touch tablets or IPADs. I think this feature should be allowed on MS Word installations so that we can use this great feature by connecting the laptops with WACOM like tablets.
                                I am using MacBook Pro and I find Draw tab (Ink Editor) missing and also I am using the WACOM tablet also. This feature powers Trainers like me to have a webinar with clients, using the power of MS Office tools. Otherwise it;s frustrating to switch tabs and sometimes things go out of context.

                                • Purchase Order Option should be added to track all processes of a buy/sellcycle

                                  You have options to 'Sell' items only, however this is not the full picture of what is required to make a sale. 3 steps should be included: Estimates - PURCHASE ORDERS - Invoice.
                                  Example: If I am buying an item from a supplier to fulfill an order for a client, I need to generate a Purchase Order after I receive the suppliers estimate. This tells them I want to buy the items on estimate. I will then sell these items to a client and generate an Invoice for payment. You should add a Purchasing Option so the entire purchasing/selling pipeline…

                                  • Allow to change Credit Card for annual accounts

                                    I would like to see Office 365 have the ability to update the credit card information for annual accounts. The current process is to cancel the subscription, have the remaining balanced credited, and pay for the new one year term. This is unacceptable to the customer. The solution should just be to update the existing credit card on file without changing the subscription period and charging the credit card. I have never seen this with any other company and find it hard to believe this isn't a solution currently.

                                    • Be able to edit & update invoices, and have invoices reflect payments customers have made

                                      Some customers make payments. When registering payments, their invoices do not reflect it, which I think should happen automatically. We should be able to re-send the invoice showing the payment deducted from the original amount owed. Why register a payment if it does not show on the invoice? And, because invoices cannot be edited once they are sent, etc., I have to start from scratch to be able to send an invoice with my customer's payments reflected. PLEASE FIX THIS... it is an important feature that needs to be added. Thanks!!

                                        Team,

                                        I have just transitioned from a 3PP invoicing app to Invoicing.

                                        My desire is two fold. First, I’d like to have a way to send a customer an invoice that shows when a deposit has been made and then the remaining balance.

                                        Second, a way to send an invoice that has been paid and have the invoice show this paid status.

                                        • Invoice pricing from SharePoint, OneDrive: Excel

                                          When creating an invoice or estimate, it would be great if prices could be linked to an Office document such as Excel from SharePoint, OneDrive, or Excel. Maintaining a static list of prices is time intensive, and prone to error.
