Windows 10 Business Activation
As an MSP with Microsoft, we are devoted to giving our customers with great service and the best technical support that we can provide them. In any case, there is an issue with trying to activate Windows 10 Business license for M365, there is an environment that we tried to deploy for and it seems that the issues with trying to activate workstations that have Windows 10 Home. The customer had bought a new Microsoft Surface laptop and it had Windows 10 Home, we tried to get it to activate but it seemed that the customer would've had to purchase a Windows 10 Pro license. To us, this makes no sense at all as to why the customer would need to pay for a monthly subscription, and then they need to pay an additional fee for the Windows 10 Pro license. In our opinion, it should not work this way, why would we need to have a Windows 10 Pro? We understand that Windows 10 Home and Pro are two different animals all together, but if that statement is really true, then you shouldn't be able to enter a Windows 10 Pro product key to activate from Windows 10 Home. It should be set and stone that each laptop would be compatible to Windows 10 Pro OR Home. It should work the same way with the licenses when it comes to Windows as a service.
