The application doesn't send emails if you have 2 factor authentication enabled.3 votes
Try this: Create an app password and use that instead. You can see a guide here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-an-app-password-for-Office-365-3e7c860f-bda4-4441-a618-b53953ee1183
My Office 365 account and my Microsoft account use the same email. This is normally not an issue with any other app, I simply get the modern authentication prompt and specify which account I want to use. Microsoft invoicing instead just ignores that and tells me I can’t login with my personal account.5 votes
Thank you for your feedback! You’re right that Microsoft Invoicing has a dependency on your Office 365 work or school account, and that you cannot log in with your personal account. But you have a good point about the experience, so we’ll take a look at what we can do to make it easier for you going forward.
Can you optimize the Invoicing app for the iPad Pro? Would like to use it but not on a small device like the iPhone. Would get a lot more use of the app on the iPad.2 votes
Thank you for your feedback, but we are not planning to provide an app for iPad or iPad Pro. Instead, we recommend that you use Business center from your iPad. Instead of only using 365, it would be nice to use my outlook account to login and use invoicing.2 votes
I need invoice app and I don't have microsoft 365 account! I have microsoft account with my yahoo mail! What should i do?!!2 votes
We’re not currently planning to include support for personal email accounts.
Right now there is a units column that you cannot choose to see until you send the invoice. When you send the invoice, it adds a units column and automatically says per "Hour" -- which is not how we invoice! This appears to be a bug in that there is no way to remove or edit the column, and we have to write a note saying essentially, "Sorry, Microsoft doesn't let us change this units column, so please disregard the part about "per hour"!!10 votes
