My Office 365 account and my Microsoft account use the same email. This is normally not an issue with any other app, I simply get the modern authentication prompt and specify which account I want to use. Microsoft invoicing instead just ignores that and tells me I can’t login with my personal account.5 votes
Thank you for your feedback! You’re right that Microsoft Invoicing has a dependency on your Office 365 work or school account, and that you cannot log in with your personal account. But you have a good point about the experience, so we’ll take a look at what we can do to make it easier for you going forward.
Do you mean attaching a file in addition to the invoice? You can do that in Business center but not on the phone today.
The application doesn't send emails if you have 2 factor authentication enabled.3 votes
Try this: Create an app password and use that instead. You can see a guide here: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Create-an-app-password-for-Office-365-3e7c860f-bda4-4441-a618-b53953ee1183
Set up rules that apply discounts automatically to invoice based on dates and customer details (consumer type for eg.)1 vote
Thank you for your feedback! We’ll add it to the list of things to consider for a future update, but right now we’re not sure if customer groups or similar are quite right for Microsoft Invoicing.
It would be useful to be able to silo user views based on permissions so that users view role-appropriate info.
Perhaps this can be accomplished with mail-enabled security groups and/or at a user-tenant level.
E.g. A user-tenant is able to generate new invoices and register payments, but not view customer totals.1 vote
Thank you for your feedback! You might want to sign up for a free trial of Microsoft Dynamics 365 – try it here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/financials
Thank you for your feedback! You’re not the first to suggest this, so we’re currently investigating what we can do to help.
Can you optimize the Invoicing app for the iPad Pro? Would like to use it but not on a small device like the iPhone. Would get a lot more use of the app on the iPad.2 votes
Thank you for your feedback, but we are not planning to provide an app for iPad or iPad Pro. Instead, we recommend that you use Business center from your iPad. Instead of only using 365, it would be nice to use my outlook account to login and use invoicing.2 votes
I need invoice app and I don't have microsoft 365 account! I have microsoft account with my yahoo mail! What should i do?!!2 votes
We’re not currently planning to include support for personal email accounts.
if customers want to add new fields within the invoices apart from the existing ones they should get an option to customize the option so that they can design the way they want.0 votes
