Ability to configure will documents open by default in read mode or edit mode (office online)
When opening documents from sp liba, you should be able to configure what is the default opening behaviour (read or edit). For example cover pages do not work when document is openened in edit mode.

Our organization urgently needs the default behavior to be configurable. With documents now opening in Edit mode by default, we now have a scenario where documents are being accidentally modified. In some cases, document links that are shared via email to whole departments end up with many users "editing" the document when the intention is only for them to read it. This significantly increases the chance of someone accidentally changing the document. This is causing major document integrity issues and impacting our organizations productivity.
I'm totally agree with this proposition. After last changing default opening mode documents. Default edit mode is for us not acceptable.
