Where the **** is Outlook Tasks on Mobile?
No Tasks on the Outlook iOS App: defeats the purpose of the app:
I’ve had to purchase an external app: http://tasktaskapp.com/ to manage my tasks on iOS
We hate using APPLE reminders on our iOS or other external apps
Outlook has always had - Mail, Calendar, People and TASKS!!! extremely disappointed that TASKS was left out off the mobile app.

There's an app called "Microsoft To Do" that synchronizes with Outlook to manage Tasks.

Any ideas if your company has not enabled To-Do ? Tasks do exist, I use them in my desktop client on a daily basis... . SIgning in to To-Do isn't an option.. so I guess those "Outlook only" tasks are unattainable in Outlook mobile?

It is not integrated with the Outlook app but you can download and sync all tasks on IOS with the Microsoft To Do app.

Are you even THINKING of fixing this?? I work or the State of California EPA- the only way I can get my email at home is via the web app. The same one I use on my phone to answer emails. But I can’t access my very detailed, deadline driven task list on my phone when I’m in the field. WTF??

No tasks in mobile is such a failure. No need to complain, install a better messaging app and there are plenty.

Microsoft developed the MS To Do app to manage tasks on mobile: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.microsoft.todos&hl=en_US

I thought it was just me. I organize everything by my task list and can’t believe it is not accessible on iOS. This is very limiting and renders the purpose of the mobile version useless, as I still have to have my laptop handy.

Can’t understand why mobile would not include task management. This is a big issue for me!

Tasks and To-dos is a key feature of Outlook and Exchange that I for one cannot live without. Only having that feature in the desktop client and not having it in Outlook mobile (or OWA either!!!) is insane.
PLEASE PLEASE add Outlook tasks/to-dos to the mobile app!!!!! -

Anyone from Microsoft watching the User Voice? Seems more like "Useless Voice" as this is a huge issue and major disappointment not just from a functionality standpoint but from a communications standpoint. Why is this not on the list future updates? It is years overdue! Please assign someone to respond to your customers and provide answers.

I gave up on the official Outlook app by Microsoft, it is so limited in its usefulness and yes, no Tasks, which makes no sense.
I use Nine. It is the ONLY Android app, to my knowledge that syncs Outlook Tasks and Notes. Blue mail does not, ditto AquaMail, TypeApp... The Microsoft To-Do app is completely unrelated to Outlook.
The great thing is the evolution of corporate security policy management on the phone. With the Outlook app, you have to add your 365 work account as a Exchange server phone account, meaning data is stored on the phone, necessitating our work IT to be device admin. I never wanted that on my personal phone and that was an issue for several years. But now, 365 can be properly set up as its own 'type' of account, everything stays in cloud, no need for work IT to be device admin, Nine allows you to choose between device or application security. I recommend device. Nine has to be a device admin on the phone. For whatever reason, I'm OK with that over work IT. If you choose application, it's annoying: you'll have to enter a PIN VERY often to access the app.
There is no equivalent to Nine. It's quite nice. Only glitch (and it seems VERY hard to get this right): a conversation thread should include my latest SENT.

I was really surprised that this wasn't available on the mobile app. The whole purpose is to put it "all" at our finger tips!

Absolutely crazy that tasks are not available.
Recommend Nine as a good alternative app -

I'm really shocked Tasks aren't included on the iOS mobile app. The future is mobile. There should be complete synergy between desktop and mobile.
