As re-issuance is just resending the communication to the custodians again, a functionality is required where user can choose the same content as created for the Issuance rather than copying and pasting it

There are occasions when we would want to include those items shared with a OneDive user in the ‘Shared with me’ folder. It would be nice to have a way to include these in search results and any following eDiscovery exports.

While doing an export using eDiscovery features, if there are different versions of an email sent, because user edited the item after it was sent, there is not easy way to identify the item. Only after adding "Modified" column an Analyst can identify such item. If item is flagged as original (considering emails received and sent can be considered an operation), it will considerable reduce the complexity over a search that can contain thousand of items.

Currently the Display name is last name first. This looks bizarre on a legal hold memo.

The old Alert policy page (https://protection.office.com/managealerts) does not allow adding a group email address as the recipient of the alerts.

The new Alert policy page though allow group email as recipients of alert but it has limited activities. It does not include the creation, deletion and changes for eDiscovery case. It only includes start of Search and export alert but not creation or changes made for an eDiscovery case.

from MS reply, we can use only "Display name" to search account in eDiscovery manager.... I cannot understand why only "Display name" in SCC. It should work with Alias/ samaccount name

On the main portal page of the eDiscovery section there is a search box. This appears to only search the case names. I should be able to locate all the cases that contain "Joe Smith" as a custodian. The only way that you are able to search for cases for now is to chase the inplaceholds attribute in PS and then convert those guids to actual case names:

We need the option to limit e-discovery searches by geographical location, we are a global company with presence across the globe with multiple legal teams, but due to countries regulation we need to have this option available.

Legal request to perform e-discovery on Skype messages only. Support states there is no option to segregate Skype messages

The old search tool had the ability to search participant lists, now it has to be entered one by one and validated in active directory. participants cannot include emails sent from outside the organization now. We need that feature back.

In order to keep Compliance Portal users from exporting files, We are centralizing the exported documents requests, We will use the Azure blob and it would be nice to have a native file export format (non-loadfile, non-review platform, and non-pst). (e.g. filename.msg) Currently exports to the blob have the md5hash value as the file name that is cross referenced to the load file. The folder structure must also remain intact. Not all exports are loaded into a review platform.

Add the ability to search for hyper links or web URLs which are part of email.

If this feature will be removed from EAC, permissions should be replicated to the Security & compliance module, or admins should be notified ahead of time of doing so, that way there's no disruption or loss of the funcitionality.

automatically we should have option to restore emails in users mailbox if someone deleted emails from his mailbox .. through e discovery we have option to restore but we have download complete pst which is hectic job.

Please have compliance searches check for e-mail aliases. Such as a mailbox is being searched and there is an address on the recipients lists that is an alias for that mailbox. (Everything is a hit.)

For reference ticket 17420048 took a week with support and a 4.5 hour phone call to find the issue. Having the search kick a warning or error would have avoided all that.

Currently in the review set if the column widths are changed to see more date and then output is sorted on date the screen refreshes, in date order, but the column widths are reverted.
It would be nice for the column widths to stay at the amended width.

also, it would nice to be able to sort on other columns.
