Advanced eDiscovery Locations Limited to 42 per custodian
Currently, the limit to the number of locations that can be added for a single custodian to an Advanced eDiscovery case is 42, per MS Support. Creating cases is already very cumbersome and having to create more than 1 case because a custodian has more than 42 locations in all of Office 365 is an unreasonable ask. Please remove this limit, or at least allow a much higher number of locations to be added per custodian.

In advanced eDiscovery we limited to only 20 teams site and/or sharepoint sites. Need to up that limitation as Teams is very popular in our business. Most of our custodian are part of more than 20 Teams.

Yes, this is a huge problem if you are not comfortable with PowerShell. the GDPR Subject searches now allow for cut and past of smtp address. So should HOLD.

eDiscovery > case > holds : Finding and entering multiple custodians at once
Our Legal team would like to have a better user interface in which it would be possible to easily enter multiple custodians at once. Currently, they have to enter and search and select every particular custodian one by one. It is annoying. They would like to have a possibility to paste a list of all custodians at once. Current solution is OK for let's say up to 5 custodians which is only 40% of their cases. We checked with MS support engineers and we were able to find only one workaround which however, is not convenient.
The workarounds we found/discussed:
- PowerShell ... not applicable for Legal people.
- Bulk Search Editor ... not applicable. It is not available for Holds only for Search.
- Distribution lists ... applicable but inconvenient. Legal people do not have access to Admin center. In our environment, they can create a group somewhere else but then they have to wait several hours before this group is synchronized and appears in o365.
