Specific quarantine permissions
It would be great to allow specific rights for a user to access quarantine and see all users quarantined email. Like a delegated quarantine admin without the rest of the admin rights. This would really help us. I don't feel I can give a user full admin rights just to look at and release quarantined email.
we now have a new role called Quarantine Administrators
Dont know what you talking about
But the quarantine administrator works fine for users with no other admin rights
I tried the Quarantine Admin role but it didn't work. Seems there are higher level permissions still needed on the EAC side (hygiene and org admin). If anyone has had success using the Quarantie admin role by itself to allow a regular user to view and release quarantined emails for a shared mailbox, please let me know. For us, when they filter by 'recipient address' to the shared mailbox, no results are found. But, it works for me as admin.
There is an RBAC role for Quarantine Administrator, which has "
Allow viewing and releasing quarantined email." I would like to see these two permissions separated, so that I can give our Help Desk Quarantine - View-Only, and Quarantine Administrators the ability to release emails.

Was this ever addressed? I need the same thing for our Tier 1 techs.

Would be great to delegate permission to release quarantined messages only without giving other admin permissions.

I am also looking to enable this feature to an admin. we dont want to grant them view only rights on entire exchange org.
We need this as well so we can delegate the role.

This would be a very useful feature. As an MSP with several large clients that have internal IT as well it would be helpful to be able to delegate these individual permissions so they can handle low level items like quarantine on their own.
