Allow Partners to access the Security and Compliance Center
Please grant Partners the ability to access the Security and Compliance Center through the Partner Admin portal.
We are working on adding this to the Partner Portal. In the meantime, the partner can access it by appending the customer’s domain to the URL, e.g., https://protection.office.com/contoso.com.

We are contemplating removing our third party Anti Spam product and shifting all clients over to just Microsoft ATP Spam - but I do not want my techs to have to log into a clients GA account just to gain access to these features!
I'll join the unanimous chorus on this one. The biggest problem...a message is quarantined that i cannot find in the old delegated exchange interface because its been migrated to the new security and compliance center...that i cant access as a delegate...sigh, if you are going to remove access to something...maybe make sure the alternate access method is in place for delegated partners first...
Still a problem, workaround not working, cannot access security and compliance center without logging in as a direct O365 admin service account. Getting ridiculous now...

The above mentioned "workaround" is NOT working. Very frustrating.
OMG what a hole. Workaround doesn't work for me either. eta please given you've been working on it for some 13 months?

Can we get an update on this please.
I've not been able to get the work around to work this year.
Such a PITA having to swap to another admin account just to run a message trace.
How does MS handle this internally when offering support?

I thought at first we might have to configure separate permissions in order to be able to see the Security and Compliance center. I must say I am shocked and appealed that this hasn't been implemented at all. Especially when Microsoft is actively encouraging partners to increase the Tenant security scores etc its ridiculous!

I really can't believe that this is still a problem after all this time. It really needs to be sorted out ASAP as it makes supporting customers very difficult and time consuming.
Tried the workaround but doesn't work for me. How do we manage and improve customer security without access to it?
We need this ASAP. As the Pandemic stretches on Cyber attacks and Phishing campaigns are becoming more prevalent. We need the ability to protect our customers without having lots of accounts in their Tennent with Global Admin privileges.
@Scott Landry, could you please advise whether I should raise a Partner Center support request - as is the case for another person below, I am unable to access the https://protection.office.com/customer1.onmicrosoft.com - I can only manage our own tenant (even though the browser address bar shows the full URL as above).
I tested by attempting to create an alert policy where a condition is that the "user is" but could only select users from our own tenant, not users from the customer's tenant.
This is something that needs to be done sooner rather than later.

any updates on this? Still causing us issues

Doesn't work for me and I'm a Global admin + Admin Agent

So the workaround using https://protection.office.com/contoso.com seems to work, but only if you're a global admin in your CSPs account. I'm the admin for our CSP so I can use this URL and it works. However our techs who are assigned Admin Agent to our clients cannot view it - or they can at least but get very limited options.
Ridiculous we're 2 years in and this still isn't working right. How are we supposed to properly manage our clients via delegated access without a very important piece of management??

The reply about using the customer URL (appending the customer’s domain to the URL, e.g., https://protection.office.com/contoso.com.) don't work.
Bad work around if it's not working.

Microsoft are encouraging partners to set up security practices without giving them access to the security tools required to do it! This needs sorting.

Echoing the sentiments from everyone else here. What will it take to at least get someone from Microsoft to update the incorrect status on this highly-voted ticket? (I'm apparently out of votes, hoping commenting here will at lest function as a "subscribe"?)

I posted some feedback in the S&C TechCommunity - hopefully it gets this some better visability: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/security-privacy-compliance/partners-cannot-access-security-and-compliance-center/m-p/1212785#M2712
Workaround posted by Scott Landry does not work. This has been mentioned many times in the comments yet no response from Microsoft and no update for over 18 months. What the heck is going on?
Please implement this. Clearly very important and workaround does not work nearly two years later.
