Allow endusers to access quarantine for shared mailboxes
Currently, only admins can view the quarantine for shared mailboxes. Users are automatically redirected to their own quarantine. I'd love for there to be a default for users who are delegates of a mailbox to have a way to get to the shared mailbox quarantine queue. If they are allowed to view the inbox/folders they should be allowed to control the spam.

We've just enabled the quarantine notifications for users and are now facing the same issue. The users get notified of shared mailbox emails in quarantine but can't access them? Come on people fix this please!!!!!!!!

This uservoice request is open and unanswered since april 2016.
I can't believe it's true.
Shared Mailboxes are commonly used in nearly any environment.
Not only that you cannot access the quarantine for the shared mailbox as a full access privileged user, you can also not delegate explicitly global quarantine Management without giving a user one of the default RBAC-roles, which is the only option to switch the Security & Compliance in "global view" mode. The option cannot be to exclude all Shared Mailboxes from Antispam/AV-protection. PLEASE Microsoft change this ! -

proving as nightmare given the many thousands of shared mailboxes we have within our government organisation

We've just switched off spam filtering on our 1st line filter, to allow EOP to do it all, and yes have shared mailboxes. Best solution we have, is enable the end-user spam digests to come through. They are generated and sent to the shared mailbox address, so users can see a summary each day.
Better than nothing.

Same here, we're in desperate need of this feature. We're moving from a local spam filtering solution to EOP for our on-premise Exchange server.

This kinda blindsided us after moving to EOP, still can't believe it's not a feature! Please implement ASAP

Badly needed feature. We've recently rolled out quarantine to our users and this is one of the most problematic issues that we have.

We have a shared mailbox for timesheets that come from personal email addresses, which keep getting flagged as spam and results in them not being processed. Adding domains to the whitelist would negate the spam filter and users can't keep asking IT to add the addresses to the safe senders list.
This is a fundamental failure in the system and should be easy to resolve as admins can filter on their own or other mailboxes. -

This is needed - it's becoming problematic as we have a shared mailbox that receives time sensitive information and emails are continuously getting stuck in the filter. There also should be an option to send a daily summary or immediate notification if an email is quarantined configurable per mailbox not one setting for the entire organization.

This would be a very useful feature. It would save calls to our helpdesk.

Why on earth is this not a feature?! FAIL!

Yes please! Very aggravating for our users. SHould be offered similar to opening the shared mailbox from OWA - once they open their own quarantine, they should be able to "Open another mailbox".

This is especially problematic given that not all quarantined emails show up in the daily quarantine summary report for a shared mailbox. If it shows up in the report, owners/users of that shared mailbox can release them, but we have examples of quarantined emails that are not showing up in this report.

Please note that this same request has been duplicated at least three times by others on user voice:

The native PS admin capabilities of quarantine are awesome, but don't make me subject end users to using it to manage what's the in quarantine of shared mailboxes they own.

Generally I think MS does a good job, this however is a total failure to envision how organizations function. Now I have to task a developer with making a ui to allow end users to manage these items and it kills me because I am sure this will get added later making the money spent on the temp fix a total waste of my company's resources.
