  1. Trim down the Upgrade Distribution Groups advertisement in Exchange Online console

When selecting onto the Groups menu within Recipient management for Exchange Online, there are two huge boxes for "Groups in Outlook" and "Upgrade Distribution Groups". So big as the table which shows the groups to manage has only 4 lines where there are thousands to manage which makes it very difficult to see at a glance larger sets of distribution groups. Could these two boxes be trimmed down?

  2. Conversion from offline OST to PST Outlook

With the aid of OST to PST Converter application users can convert single as well as multiple files in a few little moments without losing any information. Before the conversion, it shows the preview of recovered mailbox easily and safely. It supports MS Outlook version from 97 up to 2019. The users can export those selected files which they want to convert from offline OST file to PST file format. After the recovery task it allows to export OST data into PST, EML, EMLX, MSG, HTML, vCal, vCard and MBOX file format as per your requirement.

  3. When messages from Planner or Teams are distributed through groups, include a link to the source post

With Planner and Teams communicating through Groups emails, it can be confusing to know where a message is coming from. Besides reading the message in the email, easily knowing the source is essential, especially if there is a linked file to be reviewed or worked on. This is especially confusing if you are only using Planner and Teams occasionally in organisations where email is still the primary form of communication.

  4. How to create backup for Outlook Data file?

We should know how to store backup for emails, messages, contacts, appointments, notes, etc. if we are using Outlook Application any version including latest 2016. Below are steps which you can use to store backup for Outlook contacts.

    1) Open MS Outlook 2007 application
    2) Click on File Menu
    3) Go to Import and Export, from here click on ‘Export to a file’ and
    click next
    4) Select comma separated values and hit next
    5) Select contacts and click next
    6) Rename the exported file as ‘contacts’
    7) Click on next for saving the exported contacts file. By default this …

  5. Recycling Bin or Undo for Deletion of Groups and other Items

Add a recycling bin or undo option for global admins for the deletion of groups/distribution lists/planner/notebook/etc. to make it easier to recover instead of using Powershell.

  6. Dynamic Distribution Groups should be able to use greater than / less than operators

Dynamic Distribution Groups should be able to use greater than / less than operators on Active Directory fields to filter group membership. For instance, if I use a field like "description" to house an employee number, and I only want employees with a number less than 9000, I should be able to state that filter so that only field values < 9000 are included

  8. label conversations as "Email Conversations" and "Chat Conversations" in Office 365

When I create an Office 365 Group, the associated SharePoint site has a "Conversations" link that takes you to EMAIL conversations. If I create a team based on an existing Office 365 group, it will have CHAT conversations. EMAIL and CHAT conversations are entirely separate, yet are simply called "Conversations". This is confusing. Either merge them (best), or label them EXPLICITLY as "Email Conversations" (or "Outlook Conversations") and "Chat Conversations" (or "Teams Conversations") and provide links to BOTH in the SharePoint Online team site.

  11. Edit group membership in the GAL

End users are used to manage group membership they are owners of in the GAL. This is not supported for O365 groups and could me a major inhibitor for massive deployment in our environment.

  12. Groups shouldn't allow SMTP/UPN addresses as display names

We recently had an issue where a user accidentally created a group by entering a user's full email address (UserA@ourcollege.edu) as the group's display name. Later, when a different user (User B) tried to email User A the message instead ended up in the group's inbox. On investigation, the group's display name was the first thing auto-suggested/auto-completed by Outlook, and User B chose it instead of the real contact.

This isn't just a bit awkward, and open to accidental disclosure of confidential information, but it could be exploited by a malicious actor inside the organization to lure unaware…

  14. Know when the last email was sent to a distribution list.

Know when the last email was sent to a distribution list.

    good morning

We would need to know when the last email has been sent to a distribution list so that these lists can be used.

The only solution that Microsoft has given us is to see in the mail flow if an email has been sent in the last 90 days.

    thank you

  15. Bug: Quick edit in Sharepoint library failed to go to page 2 of the quick edit list.

In O365 embedded Sharepoint Quick Edit option, if the list of records flow into page 2 of the list, for example, page 1 covers items 1-30, page 2 covers items 31-60 etc, if you click on the next page option, it will bring you back to the browse default page of the library instead of going to page 2.

Have walk through with the Microsoft helpdesk and confirm that its a bug.

The classic sharepoint view will work fine.

  16. Allow add/update membership of Office 365 connected Yammer group by the group owner and / or members

So this would make Office 365 connected Yammer groups in keeping with Office 365 connected Outlook groups - in Office 365 connected Outlook groups owners can add/update group membership.

Forcing the management of Office 365 connected Yammer groups onto Office 365 admins is out of keeping with the pattern of collaboration established by the Office 365 connected Outlook groups.

  17. Allow images to be imported to Outlook web - Out of office

It would be really useful to allow images to be imported / pasted in Out of Office section of Outlook Web mail. As currently can't add any branding etc like you can in the signature section.

  20. Email conversation view should open on 1 click to see all emails

Email Conversational setup changed recently so now you have to click multiple times to open up the conversation to see each individual email underneath. First click does nothing. Second click sometimes opens the conversation. Sometimes it takes 3 clicks before it opens to show all emails in the conversation. Can change back to 1 click to open all emails in the conversation?
