  1. Add auto reply capabilities to a group

    Seems basic to me. We run a service company. An email comes into service@company.com

    We want to forward the email to members in our group but also auto reply to the sender letting them know the email was received.

    I could set up a 'paid for' user that does nothing but auto-reply and then forward to a distribution list .. but what a pain .. and cost.

  3. Possibility to archive groups

    Please give us a possibility to archive groups for purpose of lifetime governance. This means a) an administrative tool/report to find inactive or unused groups and b) an option to cleanup these groups. This could mean but is not limited to making them readonly, hiding them from Groups List, etc.

  4. Consolidated Admin Interface To Control Office 365 Connectors/Apps Across Office 365

    Within Yammer, Outlook and MS Teams we have a similar concept of connectors/apps. Each of these has different ways of controlling what connectors/apps are available to users. We would like to see a consolidated Admin interface to control which connectors/apps are enabled or disabled as well as whether or not each of these connectors/apps allows actionable activities ie. allow the Twitter connector/app but disable the like and comment buttons via the consolidated Admin interface.

  6. Support publishing a group calendar to external users

    Support publishing a group calendar to external users

    Currently you need to link a shared mailbox in order to do this

  7. Remove Groups Folder from

    I don't want to see Groups or Fav Groups Calendar in my Outlook 2016 Folder View. I need it clean and simple. Don't clutter it up with whatever you want to. Add an option to hide ANY element in that tree.

  8. Microsoft teams and OneNote Notebook integration

    Even though on https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Frequently-asked-questions-about-Microsoft-Teams-%E2%80%93-Admin-Help-05cbe533-2181-4e95-a4b0-52cd7695fafc it states you can keep using your existing OneNote when you add Teams functionality to an existing Office 365 Group this is a bit misleading.

    It in essence creates a new section per team channel in the notebook but all the content you previously created in the Notebook in the Office 365 Group is not visible in the 'Notes' tab in Microsoft Teams and as such is not usabel/accessible from the Teams client.

    Very annoying and not quite sure why this was an accepted design choice by MS.

  9. Changes to UnifiedGroup.EmailAddresses does not sync with MsolGroup.ProxyAddresses

    The changes are additive but if you remove an email address from UnifiedGroup.EmailAddresses, it is not reflected in MsolGroup.ProxyAddresses. This is important for organizations that host multiple domains in the same tenant.

    To reproduce:

    New-UnifiedGroup -DisplayName "myawesomegroup" -Notes "myawesomegroup" -Alias "myawesomegroup" -EmailAddress "myawesomeness@contoso.onmicrosoft.com" -owner "consultant@contoso.com" -AccessType Public -Verbose

    Get-UnifiedGroup myawesomegroup | select *

    Set-UnifiedGroup myawesomegroup -PrimarySmtpAddress "myawesomeness@contoso.com"

    Set-UnifiedGroup myawesomegroup -PrimarySmtpAddress "yourawesomeness@contoso.onmicrosoft.com"

    Set-UnifiedGroup myawesomegroup -EmailAddresses @{remove="SMTP:myawesomeness@contoso.onmicrosoft.com"}

    Set-UnifiedGroup myawesomegroup -EmailAddresses @{remove="SMTP:myawesomeness@contoso.com"}

    $msolGroup = Get-MsolGroup | Where-Object {$_.DisplayName -eq "myawesomegroup"}

    $msolGroup.ProxyAddresses

    This shows all the email addresses that have been added.…

  10. Planner Board View - Sort/Filter Buckets by Due Date/Date Range

    Planner Board View by Bucket needs a Sort by Due Date or date range filter - would be good to be able to sort all Buckets within a Plan by due date/date range. We are an agile environment and need to quickly review particular Bucket tasks based on dates, whilst you can do this in Charts view, it is not available in Board Bucket View. It would give our team a quick view on pinch points blocking related pieces of work

  11. Allow users to edit their groups' photo while not allowing them to change their own photo

    If the SetPhotoEnabled OWA Mailbox policy is set to False, users are also not able to Change the photo of Office 365 Groups they created, which is a flawed design choice. They are however able to Delete the group photo, which is a bug. Please make a seperate "SetPhotoEnabled"setting for users and group and fix this bug.

  12. Adding hidden members to Office 365 Groups

    We have hidden our students from Global Address List using "hide from address book" option in AD. Now teachers can't add students to Groups, because adding members to a Group is not possible even if full email address is known. It seems that GAL search is performed during member add. Please allow adding hidden members to a Group.

  13. Office 365 Groups Content Type hub connection

    There is the possibility to use content types in group libraries but it would be best if it could consume content type from the content type hub

  14. Remove meeting room from the location field if the room declines the meeting

    If a user creates a meeting and invites a room that is not available (or they are not authorised to book) then the meeting room stays in the location field. As attendees see the declined room they believe that is where the meeting is happening and report that the meeting room has been double-booked. The room has not been double booked, it's just not clear to the attendees that the room declined the invite.

  15. sort the groups

    I think it would be necessary to sort the groups in alphabetical order or in an order defined by the user. We should also see to consolidate groups or groups by section as it can be done with users that we are in a group.

  16. Expire Groups based on inactivity

    Currently group expiration is based on an renewal date, example: require the owner to renew every 6 months.
    However, the risk is if the owner doesn't see the email(s) (they get three) then the group could be removed even if there is legitimate group activity going on.
    We would like the group expiration to be influenced by actual group activity, so if you see the email alias associated with a group actively being used then do not delete the group, but instead send the owner an email saying "are you still using this? We won't delete it, but we just…

  17. Restrict default permissions for Files in Public groups

    Currently, the "Everyone except external users" claim/group is added with Edit level access to every Office 365 public group. This in turn means that *every* user in the company is not only able to view files in *every* public group, they are also able to *delete* files.

    The suggestion is to remove "Everyone except external users" from the Members group, thus removing the Edit permissions level. Instead, the Viewers group should be used for "Everyone except external users".

  19. Disabled Office 365 Group Connectors only works in Microsoft Teams

    Hello!

    Selected connectors which are enabled in Microsoft Teams are not replicated to Outlook.
    In Outlook I can still use every connector, even when I only configured one external connector in Microsoft Teams.
    This seems to be a bug otherwise I'm only able to disable the connectors for the whole Office 365 Group via the new PowerShell cmdlet.

  20. Add CardDav, CalDav, and IMAP synchronization support for G Suite

    Office365 business lack of support for
    * CardDav
    * CalDav
    * IMAP to GSuite
    makes it impossible for me and my clients to use for the following reasons:
    ** it would require maintenance of two sets of calendars, contacts, and emails
    ** many applications (JIRA, etc.) have integrations and Office365 does not and will not likely ever have the same level of developer support.
    Thus, you will lose market share unless you add true synchronization features. Additionally, the google sync tool only works with Outlook desktop.

    Notes:
    * Windows 10 Mail and Calendar support these features so should 365.
    *…
