Move attachments from OWA directly to the Groups Onedrive File. Currently your only options are: view, save it in OneDrive or Download it.

This would help us to facilitate light users who use Office 365 on a thin client. They now have to perform many actions to place a file received by mail into a group.
Not being able to file attachments - prevents us from using outlook via the portal. This is an essential work process in every organisation.

What would be really great is to use email to the group and have a rule or other mechanism that looked for an attachment type (name pattern, file type, size, etc.) and put it in the desired Group folder. This way, automated processes (like reports generated from 3rd party apps or SQL Reporting Services, etc.) could still be integrated with O365 and keep users anchored in that workflow.

This is almost a must!! The only reason for not working online completely is because people cannot save their documents to specific folders of group onedrive. To download and upload is not workable.

My client needs a fully online workflow experience. Receive email, save attachment(s) to the group file system (in appropriate folder structure). Right now they are having to download first then re-upload.
Another challenge is that half of them are on Mac, when you download a file the spaces in the file name appear as %20 so need cleaning up before re-uploading.
This really needs some more consideration. This would streamline attachment management for users of OWA and O365 groups. We have users who are justified in staying away from using the sync client, some want to live strictly in OWA and they have to save attachments to their local (download), then open the group up and upload the file. Would be so much easier to allow them to download, save to OneDrive or Save to a group. You can worry about Outlook later...!
