Create a searable archive instead of deleting a Group
Our company is doing a lot of projects, each project is an Office 365 Group. Once the project is done, the owner of the Group copies the most important files / conersations / OneNote pages etc. to a file share and closes the Group.
Other users can search through this archive whenever they are doing a similar project. This is working fine but quite a bit of work.
How cool would it be if there was a way to mark a Group as ‘Archived’ and all the latest document versions from OneDrive/conversations etc. will be marked as ‘Archived’.
Once marked as ‘Archived’ these files/ conversations etc. won’t show up in searchresults, Delve or Groupslist except when the user toggles a switch which enables him/her to browse through the archived Groups?
