optional group welcome email
Whenever someone is added to a new sharepoint group we need a option to "not notify" the user that the user has been added to the group.
The reason being that email basically serves no purpose other than letting them know which would be okay if it didn't confuse the user byt showing all the thing they can do in the e-mail. This is misleading and unnecessary. If I create a group in PowerBI, they don't get any info regarding Power BI but a general email. The most probable thing a user does after reading the email is click on "go to group" which just takes them to their outlook email on the web serving no purpose. This has happened to every single user that I intended to share a PowerBI dashboard with and its a bad start to working with new users.

Thank you for the feedback. We are looking into supporting per workload welcome emails. Please keep the feedback coming.

Make it possible to optionally send email notification when adding user to O365 group. Also make it possible to modify the email that is send.
Also it would be great to have a o365 group setting for the welcome message to be ticked / not ticked by default.
Powershell is not option for non technical users. This is a easy fix and should be implemented in the UI.

This is an important "bug". The mail has no context to the powerbi site, so our users belive microsoft is spanning them. In large organisations that uses multiple workareas this is creating confusion.

Yes.. we need the option to disable the "Welcome to the xyz group" emails going out every time a user is added to a O365 group. The Outlook client already lists all the groups that a user may be a member of, so this is just spam... especially in the case of large groups.
