Allow users to create folders within 365 Group Conversations / mailboxes
To really replace Shared Mailboxes our users need to be able to quickly categorize incoming emails and show that actions have been completed by dragging and dropping emails to a named folder in outlook.
For example accounts payable shared mailbox allows any member of the accounts team to drag an invoice email to another folder to show that it has been entered for processing
Thanks to all of you for your feedback on this item. We know that folder creation is still a high priority request from our customers. Please continue to provide your feedback as we assess the priority in relation to other initiatives the Outlook teams have committed. Thank you!

Please Microsoft - it’s now over four years since this proposal. We need it desperately! You need to do more than just “think about it”. You need to implement it.
Come on Microsoft. Its evident that people desperately want this.
We want to stop using Public Folders but until folders within 365 Groups is possible, we can't. We don't want to use Shared Mailboxes for this as it add IT overhead, whereas 365 Groups can be added by the end user.
This is something we really need to truly remove shared mailboxes and their painful management from our systems. Really looking forward to folder options being added to 365 Groups. Is there a timeframe yet on this?

Have to add in to this, that also exposing the sent items folder is pretty important on this feature. There was a tool that would BCC replies to the group automatically, but the addin has since broken in 64-bit office 365 client.
If we're truly going to get user buy-in we need the users to preserve some of the functions they're used to from shared mailboxes.
It also is very important for everyone to see everything sent OUT from the group as well, and without bcc addin, exposing that sent items folder becomes more critical.
Microsoft, do you realize that you are taking away functionality you’ve offered for years, without offering a replacement solution?
If there were an alternate solution to manage e-mail, I wouldn't have such a problem. Implementing tagging or some way to categorize would be perfectly fine by me.
No solution is not an option.
Microsoft is eliminating Site Mailboxes (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/deprecation-of-site-mailboxes).
With this, we need a comparable solution that has folders. As Microsoft is pushing to use Office 365 Groups, these groups really need to have subfolders.
Please implement immediately!
When will this feature be available? We have been waiting for a very long time.
yes please....me too...

No subfolders in group mailbox is a showstopper. Site Mailboxes had subfolders. Shared Mailbox has subfolders. Please implement.

Please implement folder creation. Our single most requested feature.
I just created several groups to receive voicemail from MS phone system call queues and auto attendants only to find out that the entries in those groups can't be managed..or even moved aside once process. Definitely need more group features ASAP.
I am sorry, but how many years can one think about such an basic idea?
It reminds me of Planner which still has no recycle bin....
If you want people to move into O365 groups.... implement folder creation... it's a show stopper, plain & simple.
This is a high priority requirement among a large cross section of projects and users in my organisation.
The lack of sub-folders in Group mailboxes is the biggest requirement/complaint from my company's stakeholders and is holding my org back from migrating away from shared mailboxes. I'd love to be able to take advantage of Group integration with Outlook (mobile) and SharePoint.
Being able to share and sort emails is very much needed, and Groups' flat structure just doesn't allow that. Users shouldn't have to run to Teams or Sharepoint to read emails outside of the Outlook client.
Ability of assigning categories would be much more powerfull that the use of groups.

This is definitely an issue for our business. I wish Microsoft can strive to be more consistent in their feature stack. Mailbox functionality should be the same between user, shared mailbox, 365 group/team mailbox. The ability to create folders and categories is critical functionality for mailboxes, and even more so to collaborate as team. I hope to see this added soon, thank you!
