Remove the ability for users to unsubscribe from a group.
Currently there is no option to prevent users from unsubscribing to an O365 group. This can cause undesired behavior for communications to specfic groups or manditory groups such as ALL@company.com.

Wow....I am with everyone else, the unsubscribe should be remotely manageable, this was a huge mistake and is a continuing nuisance bug for us.

Please fix this, it's causing so much grief. People are clicking the "unsubscribe" option when bulk email or spam gets sent via a group expecting to unsubscribe from the bulk mail.
This is so nonsensical. I seriously can't understand anyone ever asking for this functionality.
Unsubscribe at the bottom of an email should unsubscribe you from the sender's mail lists. NOT from a corporate group you are in!
Please god, give us the ability to change this. I notice some of my groups include the footer and some don't but no obvious difference between the groups in powershell.

Am concerned that this makes Microsoft Classroom dead on its feet. Our users often click the "unsubscribe" link in error in the outlook app. Either way, this is a managed solution; we need to be able to put users into groups and have them stay there.

That's the exact opposite of the solution we're looking for. We want the ability to PREVENT users from unsubscribing. Or, if they have unsubscribed, tagging an email (@teamname?) in such a way as it sends to the inboxes of all members of the group, regardless of subscription status.

This is killing groups for us as well, currently we select the group and then the + net to it's name in the to: field to populate with all members.

This kills 365 Groups from being used for us. How is this not an option to disable on the admin side?
MS Admin, your suggestion above is not relevant to this problem. Please read the request more carefully.

Hi, I was suggesting to remove the ability for users to unsubscibe. I ran into a scenario where users were not getting announcements for firstname.lastname@example.org. It was suggested that we remove the ability to unsubscribe from important groups so users don't unknowingly interfere with email communication.
